A Business Development Manager is a professional who focuses on growing a business and extending the reach of its products or services to increase revenue. Their duties include identifying new sales leads, pitching a company’s goods and services, and building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients and suppliers. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on, and support the development of, RFIs and RFPs, across all categories and capability areas
- Aid in the development of pitch background materials, including prospective client contact and business background research
- Organize creative work; assist in project management of client outreach deliverables follow-up with respective teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Build, manage, and continually develop a sales pipeline to achieve new business targets
- Coordinate category knowledge - research, analysis, compilation of new business communications
- Collaborate and build trust amongst all internal stakeholders
- Schedule, create agendas and follow-ups for team meetings as needed.

Spearhead organization throughout the process, from initial kickoff meetings and development of content to ongoing touch bases and final presentation creation and logistics.
